No names are posted and not even the apps developers have access to your information. This is what they call military grade, end-to-end encryption.
JDoe will also notify you if someone else has reported the same person as you; which can really raise your chance of getting a convition.
Not only will this change the way we report sex crimes, but it will change the way we're treated when we report sex crimes. Even if we choose not to pressure charges, at least the next victim might know they're not alone.
